The airport was buzzing with anticipation long before 2.00 pm this afternoon.

The queue of students and parents waiting for check-in appeared to wander out the door.  However Qantas were very efficient and before long we were on the plane.

The trip was fun and students behaved brilliantly.  

We arrived at our venue by 12.00 am and organised bedding and rooms.

Looking forward to that early start in the morning (sarcasm intended here)...

All students went to sleep quickly and adults not to far behind.

Make sure you have an early night tonight and sleep in tomorrow morning, ready for a jam packed week of adventurous activities and fun.

Welcome to the Blogspot of the 2015 Southern Hills Christian College and Carnarvon Christian School Canberra Trip! The purpose of this trip is for Year 6's &7's to experience and learn about our capital Canberra and the Federal Government, Australian history, and its achievements as a nation.  The majority of the trip will be in and around Canberra, however we will be spending one day in the Snowy Mountains experiencing the snow.
